Mauritius Marine Life

Marine life in Mauritius is witnessed in the coral reefs. The marine creatures like  shark, turtles,moray eels, dolphins, lion fish, stone fish, selfish,selfish, barracuda, tuna and marlin are found in Mauritius. The life under the ocean exudes an opposition of colours and the remarkable, magical and exciting beauty could be seen by the divers. The aquatic life is filled with shells along with aquatic plants. The shells are compiled from the beaches by the tourists. The aquatic lives are decreasing since the fishermen are demolishing the reefs by dynamite. The shells are still preserved by the   Mauritius  Government  by enforcing a ban on trading shells. The aquatic lives in the reefs of Mauritius are a good example of the sensitive ecological balance.

Reefs and marine life of Mauritius: The reefs offer the breeding base for proliferation of marine creatures. The reefs is the base where the sea animals live & eat. Specific measures are being conducted by the Mauritius Government to protect the reefs from demolition by dipping the vessels inside the ocean. The vessels wrecks were turned to coral in five years.
