Pamplemousse Botanical Garden: The main name of this impressive Botanical garden is Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden (SSR). It’s among the most-valuable tourist place of Mauritius. It’s located close to Port Louis and known as the most ancient botanical garden in the whole southern hemisphere. In 1767 this dazzling garden covered an area of 37 hectares,it was built by Pierre Poivre. ‘Mon Plaisir’, the chateau of Pierre Poivre is as well kept here.
